This boy LOVES the bath. He thinks he owns it. The water runs, and he comes crawling as fast as he can haul that little diaper covered bootie of his. He will bang on the door if he hears the shower going, demanding that he be let in for his turn. He lays down in the water when he's asked to. He yells. He kicks. He crawls around. He doesn't mind a bit being rinsed off. He cleans up after himself by putting the shampoo and soap back up on the ledge before he gets out and then there is a HUGE protest when the water is "all gone!" But he calms down pretty quick when he's snuggled in his towel and gets to see himself in the mirror. He tries his hardest to eat the lotion when we put it on his face. Such a silly little boy. Such a joy. :)
More things about Brayden:
He is very careful to shut drawers properly so as not to catch is fingers.
He insists on helping sort, fold, & throw laundry into the dryer. He has also claimed the responsibility of closing the dryer door and then yelling triumphantly.
He counts like this "grunt, grunt, GRUNT" to mean "1,2,THREEE!!!"
He also enjoys sounding like the cowardly lion "Mmm-UMPH!" He sounds exactly the same.
He likes to purse his lips and breathe heavily. This makes a whistling sound that Brooklyn finds fascinating since she can't whistle yet.
He thinks it's hilarious when we pray, but he's quiet.
He stands when he isn't thinking about it.
TODAY he walked 3 steps to me and then repeated it many times for Clay & I, so very VERY proud of himself!!
He still drinks from a bottle and eats rice cereal. The most solid food the kid can get down are Kix. Give the boy a graham cracker, a roll, a pea, forget it. You WILL be puked on.
He's perfected the art of begging and knows how to say "please" with his eyes and flapping arms.
He yells to me to get him up to the window to watch Brandt & Brooklyn go to & from school.
He hears Daddy walk in at night and the bustling bootie comes hauling.
He adores me and I adore him.
He loves to watch for birdies from his highchair.
He also grabs the dustpan and takes it to the garbage like he sees us do.
I LOVE watching babies learn and catch onto things. It seems like it all happens at once.

He is precious. I want he and Evie to date. How old is he now? 1yr 1month? Sad about the puking and no solids thing. Evie doesn't even like rice cereal anymore. Poor man.
Him and Evie.
You are enjoying him very much, and you should. Love the pictures.
With the right agent I'm thinking he's the next Johnson and Johnson poster child. Trips, scholarships, savings bonds, grandpa's retirement, etc. I'll send you the agreement for your review and signature. Don't call with questions. Love the ol biscuit, shrimp, pukey wukey.
Good night! I had some out loud exclamations to this post! He's walkin!!! Love the pics. Love reading about him. I hope he and Ethan are friends :) So cute.
