What happened to a picture per day you ask? I'll tell you. It's pathetic. It's true. It was fantastic because I was motivated to write down and photograph things I would otherwise forget. So I liked it....but really, REALLY, it was stressing me out. Sorry. I have been taking pictures still, but sometimes when I get my expectations too high or demand too much of myself my brain gets overloaded and I just end up with my face down in a pillow being completely unproductive in everything because I added just one too many things. So it went. Sorry again. I suppose it's my blog so there should not really be an apology. Let's just consider it an insight into my little life and mind.
I admire all individuals everywhere who can remember to change their sprinkler at regular intervals rather than run their water bill up because they got too busy making breakfast, switching laundry, bathing kids, practicing reading, shopping for yet another vaccuum belt because legos hide so well in the carpet, chasing newly mobile babies away from the door and the stairs and the cupboards and the flip flops and the cords, pretending to have a plan for dinner, getting sidetracked and scrubbing the shower, finding that the kids have built a "surprise" out of things they shouldn't and talking through that/cleaning it up, and hoping that the now overwatered part of the lawn will somehow spread it's love to the dead part of it and maybe even to the potted plants that are wasting away.
(sigh)
What happened to enjoying summer like a 6 year old?

p.s. Apology accepted
Laughed ALL the way through. Me exactly. Even down to the sprinkler being one of the things that is a concern everyday and one that I still can't get the hang of. "getting sidetracked and scrubbing the shower, switching over laundry..." My brain is now mush. Multitasking always, but not always efficiently!
