growing too fast

In the 7th month my camera broke. So, I have very few pictures of you at 7 months:

sit by yourself. Until then you were completely content to lie down.

really REALLY laugh, not just giggle somewhere down deep in the back of your throat (daddy is the best at getting you to do this)

spin in order to manuever yourself to roll where you would like to.

learned to play peek a boo successfully with us. You're very fast at it and there are always huge smiles involved.

were taught by Brandt that shaking a plastic Easter egg with jelly beans inside of it makes a shaking noise. You now shake your "bink" on command to make the same sound.

produced two of the cutest teeth ever on the bottom in the front middle. They are sharp.

are more & more interested in being with those close to you and you're wary of those that are not. But, they still get smiles.

like to pull a soft snuggly blanket over your head when you're tired. You fall asleep on daddy's lap a lot this way.

recognize people in pictures.

love sweet potatoes.

ate cheese for the first time.

are blonde & pasty white.

cry "mamamamamama" when you're really really sad. It breaks and warms my heart all at the same time.

watched us eat dinner every night from your walker.



In the 8th month, you...

were covered from head to toe in itchy miserable chicken pox. You tried to smile anyway.

busted out another tooth on top.

gurgle constantly and happily babble "bababababababababa!" all the time.

were taught how to yell by Brooklyn. You tense up your whole body, stick your belly out and yell. Just for fun.

LOVE the vacuum and metal water containers. If they are in the room, they command your full attention.

 run over our toes in your walker if we open the dishwasher in your presence.
