business

I don't care how busy summer is, it's still my very favorite.

But it is busy.

And really it's almost gone when it feels like it barely just got here and I want to crumple in a heap in the corner because of that. But I won't. But really, is A track really back on already?! Barf.

Photography, busy. Tis' the season.

Kids, busy. Brayden won't stay in the same spot for longer than 15 seconds. Loving the stairs, drawers, exploring, & looking mischievous. Brandt & Brooklyn rounding up everything they own for "sales" and soliciting neighbors. I'm so sorry. I always find out after the fact that they have knocked door to door charging people a buck to join their bird watching club, buy a marble, etc. I'm usually busy chasing number 3 and have been told that they're riding their bikes. Sneaky.

House & Yard & Dinner & Laundry. Something's gotta give and sorry to say it's usually dinner that gets the shaft. We had pb&j sandwiches last night. Yum. And I admit the morning glory is winning the battle. I'm not even going to mention the sad tale of my flower pots.

We're also house hunting and I've been running in my spare time. Which is good & fun, but busy. I feel like I haven't seen my friends for AGES.

But it's beautifully sunny every morning. The robins sing to me from their nest in my backyard.  I have tan lines. We've been able to vacation and play and there's more of that to come.  And my little girl turns 6 next week. Family is coming and has come to visit & that is the best.

And I have a lot to tell you about, and pictures to show you, and things to discuss. But today's not that day. Today I have laundry to do, a sprinkler to move, roaster pans to find for a reunion, pictures to take, dinner to make so my family doesn't boot me out, cousins to play with, and round-up to spray.

It's hard to slam it all into 2 months (really only two when you have year-round school to factor in). But it's so so fun! I can't get enough of it!!!

PB&J. I just had one for lunch. The first in a long time. While I was eating it I thought about how I had gotten to the point that even putting one in my mouth made me start to gag... I used to eat them every freaking day. ha.

I too love summer and I too am dreading it's close.
