Day 27. Father's day

This is my dad. I think he's pretty cute myself. When I asked him to take a picture with me he got all choked up. That's one thing I love so much about him-his soft heart. He's such a good good dad. His hugs fix everything. He has this way of making you feel safe enough to just spill your guts when you talk to him and let out all your ugly face snort style crying. He cares SO much about our family and does his best to keep everyone close and taken care of. He is one of my all-time top favorite people in the whole entire world. People told me growing up that I looked like him and that made me happy. :) He is an excellent provider, a jokester, a huge people person, and he always stands for something and I like that. He has a weakness for Almond Roca and sugar cookies. He cooks excellent Thai food and can throw a great party. His bed is a "tickle table" and he is always after the grandkid's giggle buttons. He is such a thoughtful person that I'm so grateful is such a big part of my life. Thinking of how much I love him makes me cry. I'm sorry that I look like I might eat you in this picture. I was laughing at Clay trying to figure out the camera.

This man is the next best thing. This is Clay's dad, Randy. He is one of the nicest people you will EVER meet and I am so lucky to have him as a father-in-law. He is wise. He is Clay's favorite person ever and I've come to know why. I'm blessed to know him and get to be so close to him. He can make anyone smile and feel loved. He loves Rocky Road ice cream and Christmas ham and will bust out the best spaghetti or a BBQ for you any day of the week. He's funny and I LOVE to be around him. I love that he's got a running shirt on and a tool in his hand in this picture. So him.

And Clay isn't my dad and he's not a father figure to me, but he does take care of me, and makes me feel safe & loved and now I'm just crying out of control. Enough of this post.
